Woot! I did it! 100 kilometers in February!
It’s been an incredible journey, filled with early morning runs, sore muscles, and a whole lot of determination. There were days when I didn’t want to get out of bed, but the idea of maintaining a streak kept me pushing and testing my limits. I’m super happy that I was able to complete the February Challenge 🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻🏃🏻♂️

The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.”

This challenge wasn’t just about running; it was about learning valuable lessons about self-discovery and establishing healthy habits. I broke down the 100-kilometer distance into 20 five-kilometer segments, meaning I only needed to run on 20 out of 29 days (thanks, leap year!). Breaking down large goals into smaller, manageable steps is key to achieving them.
The human body is amazing! It adapts constantly. My pace in December was 7:33 per kilometer, improving to 7:30 per kilometer in January. After this challenge, it’s down to 6:59 per kilometer! It’s incredible, and I’m loving the progress.

Speaking of motivation, there’s something oddly satisfying about consistency. My “three days on, one day off” routine brought a smile to my face, and it serves as a reminder that persistence is key!
It’s not about how many times you fall that counts. It’s about how many times you get up.
– Nelson Mandela
This journey has been a testament to the power of setting goals, embracing challenges, and never giving up on yourself. If you’re looking to take on a new challenge or simply improve your fitness, remember, even the most significant goals can be achieved one step at a time. Believe in yourself, celebrate your victories, and never underestimate your potential. You too can accomplish amazing things!
